COVID 19 UPDATE – due to the current circumstances, the Friends of the Mill activities are currently paused. We will let you know as soon as they are back up and running again.

The Friends of the Mill Academy are a parent led group who organise extra curricular exciting activities in school including-

  • Halloween and Easter Discos
  • Summer and Christmas Fairs
  • Talent Competitions such as ‘The Mill’s Got Talent’
  • Parent Quiz Nights
  • Regular Coffee Mornings

The group are invaluable members of school who have input into how funds raised are spent in school to benefit all children. They have also trained in first aid, safeguarding children and food hygiene. If you are a parent or carer of a child in school and would like to join this amazing group of people, please see Mrs Gulliver – we always welcome new members!

Christmas Fair

Everyone had a spooktacular time at our Halloween Discos!

The Friends of the Mill Academy have been busy working with all children across school to decorate a pebble using their own ideas and inspirations to represent themselves. Once all of the pebbles have been completed the group plan to create an outdoor sitting space in the KS1 playground. Watch this space for photos of the completed project.

The Friends of the Mill Academy hold regular coffee mornings to raise funds for school, share information on  your child’s learning here at The Mill Academy and generally get everyone together.
